Well...it got up to 100 degrees here today in the U.P.
The heat is on.

Well...let me tell you...for the first weekend being back in the U.P...it was AMAZING!!!
Today was great.
Called up a couple friends and went drinking around their place around 8.
Stayed there for a couple hours and then we went to Downtown L'Anse (Where I live) where they were hosting a "Street Dance"...it was awesome!
It was basically a club, but only outside. (Just like A Night at Roxbury.)
Danced my ass off all night long...and then some of the girls I was hanging out with needed to use the bathroom...since my apartment was across the street from the street dance...they used my apartment as a Public Bathroom.
Now...here's the greatest part.
I brought a couple girls up there and we stayed there and talked...at this point they were kinda out of it...this one girl I worked with told this other girl (Who was CUTE by the way...but was married.) that I was Mark Price from the Aftershock.
She fuckin' flips out and goes crazy and starts huggin me and everything!
Then, she asks for my autograph...so I bust out a sheet of paper and sign it and give it to her and she says she it going to sell it on E-Bay when I start to get huge on the radio.
So...I signed my first autograph today...that's awesome!
And for some reason, she said I was going to be the next Bubba Sparrxx (???)
Then we went back to the dance and just danced all night long.
It was great to just leave my place unlocked and say that if they need to use the bathroom, then go ahead!
Ohh...and this one girl who is home from school (She goes to MSU) she comes into my bedroom and says "Wow...this is a nice bed.". She jumps on it a couple times and then says "Damn, this is a NICE bed to have sex on."
She looks at me, and then being a funny guy, I go "Oh really...well then let's go!"
She just got up and laughed.
I WAS SO CLOSE! Haha.
By the way, my bed is nice. :)
Also...every girl said that I have the nicest bathroom for a guy too...WTF?
Then, I just danced the night away and drank a hell of a lot of beer and walked myself home...that was the best part, actually being so close to home that I didn't have to worry about it.
You know...I still hate the U.P. and all the Indians here...but let me tell you...tonight was the best night of my life and I wouldn't take it back for anything.
Well...if the girl from MSU would have stayed on my bed...I wouldn't mind. :)
There needs to be more nights like this.

As I watch TV and sit here and pack my stuff...I want to say Thanks to everyone that made my trip back down the best time I have every had.
I know it wasn't for long...but I was never bored at one point while I was back down here...and that is awesome.
As of later on today...I will be back on the road heading back to the U.P.
It's gonna suck...but I'll get over it.
I shall go back on the radio and resume my DJ responsibilties and then enjoy the boring U.P. while I can.
But once again...Thank you to everyone who made this whole vacation time the best ever.
So, tonight is the Series finale of That 70's Show...I got hooked on that show a couple years ago...and it's gone after tonight.
Have any ideas of what I should watch now after this is gone?
Hey, I MIGHT be coming home Thursday Evening instead of coming home Friday morning...any plans for Thursday when I come?
Yeah...I'm staying at this job for awhile, everything is actually working out well now, and we're soon building another studio in Houghton...the only thing I hate about this job is I have to dress "Professionally"...damn it!

What would be better:
1. Having a full time job in the U.P. as an On-Air Personality, rockin' out on the night shift and being the only hard rock DJ in the U.P. and being surrounded by Indians that don't pay you much money and treat you like shit.
Also, living in BFE, where if I really want to do something at all, I would have to drive 30 miles to do it.
or.
2. Having a part time Board Operator Job at Live 97.1 doing all this stuff:
Operating the studio control board, monitoring equipment in the broadcast studios, completing daily commercial and engineering logs, and more. (If you don't know what all that is, I am sorry.)
And also being closer to everyone else and probably making less money but still in the radio business.
It's not an On-Air job, but I will be able to control all the syndicated programs and get to know more about the business.
I've probably left out some stuff for both of these things, but I didn't really want to get into detail.
So, what do you think?
(I want everyone's opinion, I don't care if you don't look at LJ anymore and you're hooked on MySpace, I want to know what you think.)

I'd figure...they don't allow me to work overtime, they allow me 1.54 hours of vacation every pay and also I'm going to be taking days off without pay to come back downstate.
